Auditory Processing

Some children hear well but have difficulty processing and understanding what they have heard. They may have difficulty recalling lists of numbers and words in the correct sequence.

They may also have difficulty recalling all the different story elements or instructions in the order in which they were presented to them. Some children have difficulty hearing differences in words.

Language therapy can help children to make sense of what they hear and can help to improve their comprehension of instructions or when listening to the details of a story.
